Mobile Software Engineer (all locations: Europe, Eastern China, California) Back

Description
We are looking for developers with experience building applications for resource-constrained devices. This person must have excellent written and oral communications skills and a proven history of developing AND shipping software of a quality suitable for shipping from the factory embedded on a device.

You will work from existing requirements and specifications, produce and maintain design documents, and develop the interfaces, code and unit tests. The position can be a work-at-home opportunity provided that the individual is a proven self-starter capable of maintaining consistent communications with other team members. We have offices in Hangzhou, China and San Mateo, CA.

Qualifications
• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in design and development for mobile software and/or carrier-grade server systems in an agile development environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Java and experience with Android platform.
• Experience with search engine software, embedded databases, Client/Server environments and protocols.
• A university degree, preferably in computer science.
• Proficient with automated and/or programmatic test tools and "build" process.
• Proficient in speaking and writing English. Experience in a distributed work environment (meaning people working around the world.
