Servo Software Opens for Public Beta

BARCELONA - February 15, 2010 - Servo Software, Inc. today announced that it is now offering a public beta of its new, free service that lets users share and discover apps and music, contacts and calendar items, and just about anything on mobile devices with whoever they chose. This helps users to find apps, music or whatever their friends are using on their phones right now.
Servo is offering the public beta for Android to collect feedback from the active Android user community. This feedback will be incorporated in the version which is scheduled for final launch at first half of this year. During the test period, Servo beta is available with a native client for virtually all of the nearly 50 existing or shortly upcoming Android-based devices, and for all other phones with a web client. Servo for the iPhone will be ready for the final launch.
To join the beta, participants can simply go to m.servo.net from their Android phone browser to download the free software, or to register on www.servo.net from their PC to get a link onto their phone or access the full web client. Once the software is loaded on the phone, beta participants will immediately be able to start sharing content safely with any of their friends in their phonebook, and they already have at least one friend, the Servo Bot, which is loaded with apps and music to preview and purchase. Beta users are encouraged to provide open feedback in the Servo community at http://servo.net/forum.
